Home School Link Worker
I am Ruth Proost, Home School Link Worker and Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA). My role at school is to support children, parents and carers with their emotional wellbeing which may impact children’s behaviour at school and home.

If you are experiencing any of these issues, please contact me via the office. I can offer support to you and your child/children for managing their emotions, understanding the triggers and offering support and coping strategies to improve their emotional wellbeing.
I have a wealth of experience and knowledge in managing children’s emotions and wellbeing. I am able to offer support to parents using a variety of strategies these may include; cognitive behaviour and solution focused therapies, positive parenting strategies from the Family Links Nurturing Programme as well as being able to offer bereavement counselling for children and families that have/are suffering from trauma and bereavement.
